Hackathon edition, May 5
Save the date for our first Gravitate Health Hackathon!
 Join the 1st Gravitate Health Hackathon in Gothenburg, Sweden from May 21-23, virtually and on-site during the Medical Informatics Europe 2023 and Vitalis conferences.

The Gravitate Health project aims to empower Europeans with health information and improve adherence to treatment. The Hackathon is a chance to showcase the federated open-source platform and invite constructive feedback to speed up its development.

This hybrid hackathon will take place over 3 sites: the main site for the Hackathon is Gothenburg, Sweden; and the satellite sites are Walton Oaks, Surrey, UK at Pfizer premises and Athens, Greece at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Gravitate Health Hackathon will cover 2 key challenges!
The upcoming Hackathon will feature two exciting challenges that promise to be both challenging and rewarding.
The first challenge involves creating ePI Preprocessing modules based on FHIR format. Participants will need to develop modules that can parse and process electronic product information (ePI) data and convert it into FHIR format to facilitate the sharing and integration of healthcare information.
The second challenge is focused on developing G-lenses using the resources provided. G-lenses are a powerful tool used to search and retrieve information from large, complex datasets. Participants will be provided with various data sources such as public health datasets and medical research papers, which they can use to develop their G-lenses.
