FEATURED NEWS
We are thrilled to announce our second and final Gravitate Health Hackathon Design G-lens® Contest!”, next 9-11 December 2025 in Athens and remotely.

Reporting from HIMSS25 in Paris!
Gravitate Health representatives joined the HIMSS 2025 European conference on June 10-12, to showcase the project's patient-centred innovations like the G-lens® in live use cases.
More than 1,170 attendees engaged in sessions and demonstrations featuring experts from across the Gravitate Health consortium.
With a strong presence in the Interoperability Showcase, the Gravitate Health booth, workshops and leadership sessions, the team highlighted their commitment to digital health, interoperability, and empowering individuals in managing their health. It was a great occasion to engage with international peers, key stakeholders and demonstrating real-world impact.

Knowledge Pill #1 – User Experience & Adaptability
On 10-12 June 2025, Gravitate Health representatives Lene Lunde and Line Løw from the University of Oslo, were at the Patient Engagement Open Forum (PEOF 2025) in Baveno, Italy, to present the G-lens® functionality. More than 50 people interacted the the app at the booth.
We were pleased to witness considerable engagement and enthusiasm surrounding the project, with participants actively sharing their thoughts and feedback, as including the patient perspective is essential to shaping the G-lens® in a meaningful way.
Knowledge Pill #2 – Technology Developments & Knowledge Sharing

This meeting of our ePI Technology Community explored how ePI is revolutionising the way patients and healthcare professionals access, understand, and interact with medicine information. From paper to digital, and now toward intelligent, interoperable formats, the latest innovations, challenges, and real-world use cases driving this transformation were discussed.
The first webinar of the newly launched Open E2E Community titled “Reshaping business processes for enriched electronic product information (ePI)” was held on June 6th, and was a great success attracting over 100 participants.
If you missed it, the recording and presentations are available.

Knowledge Pill #3 – Clinical Practicalities
PredictBy, a Gravitate Health partner, is the lead of the recently published study in Nature Scientific Reports which explores the effects of information provision and salience on vaccine hesitancy. The study team found that simply providing electronic Product information (ePI) can increase hesitancy, likely because negative information is strongly highlighted. This study is among the first to provide evidence of the potential negative behavioural effects of vaccine information provision.
Knowledge Pill #4 – Vision & Outreach
Ιn our latest interview, professor and member of Gravitate Health Guendalina Graffigna highlights a key challenge: while patient leaflets are widely read, they are not always understood. In fact, 42% of over-the-counter (OTC) medicine users report difficulties in comprehension. To address this, she emphasises the need for improved accessibility through digital tools, clearer formatting, and focused health literacy. strategies.

A Scientific Tutorial Article
Members of Gravitate Health recently published a paper aiming to present the use of the Delphi consensus methodology to develop KPIs for the evaluation of novel digital health interventions. As a result substantial indicators being used to capture real-world data in developing and evaluating digital health interventions are provided. The list of KPIs will be useful to a broad group of stakeholders, such as international networks, investors, public authorities or policymakers, technology & service providers, as well as researchers and academics.
